Paying It Forward
Help Support Our
 Family Business Resource Site

Most people are unaware that every family business that asks for our advice gets it - regardless of their ability to pay. Our way of paying it forward!

We are often asked how we are able to help so many family businesses. Not only how, but why...

We have provided our help as a way of saying "thanks" to all of our family business clients who have found our advice helpful to their family and to the family's business. Being a "trusted advisor" to family businesses is something we work hard to achieve - and have been doing so for more than 40 years.

Our web site is the highest ranked full service family business resource on the Internet. Our content-rich site offers tips and success strategies for families in business together.

Because of the economy over the past few years, we have been overwhelmed with requests for help - for many family businesses the shift in focus has gone from succession to survival.

Many Veterans interested in starting their own business ask for our help - we support and mentor them with our advice and personal introductions to our "Rolodex File" relationships - connections that can help them be successful.

Family businesses are the foundation of our economic system. They provide most of the new jobs, create most of the wealth in our country and are responsible for more than 60% if the GDP.

Yet only about 30% of family businesses successfully transition to the second generation; only about 12% successfully transition to the third generation; and only about 3% successfully transition to the fourth generation.

Point here is that running a successful family business is tough to do under the best of circumstances!

If you care to help, we appreciate your support, referrals and any financial donations you may care to make – an opportunity for visitors to our web site for paying it forward.

The Family Business Help Desk is a free service for family-owned businesses, supported by the Atlanta-based Family Business Institute.

Family businesses come to us for help. Many come to us with very difficult  problems but do not have the financial resources to pay for our professional services. Many times these family businesses have been hurt by the economy, fires, hurricanes, floods – and with family issues that adversely impact family businesses such as drug and alcohol addictions that can wreck a family and bankrupt a family-owned enterprise.

For those family businesses in need, we offer free consultations, trusting that we can make a difference – with the goal that they can help themselves to a better tomorrow.

As a Veteran owned business, we also donate our time to those Veterans who visit our web site seeking help in transitioning from a military career to the civilian sector.

We also support Veteran-related organizations that include:

Wounded Warrior Project

Honor Flight

Worcester Wreath

                                             Civil Air Patrol

Tiger Flight Foundation

Cell Phones for Soldiers
