KEYS TO SUCCESS

At Belleville Wire Cloth, our philosophy has always been putting customers first. Manufacturing flexibility and inventories warehoused on both coasts provides our company a significant competitive advantage in the market place.

We listen and learn exactly what our customers are looking for, and then we make each and every part and/or piece of mesh to the exact customer specifications.

WHO WE ARE

Since 1919 Belleville Wire Cloth has been a leader in the wire mesh and wire cloth industry. We manufacture and maintain one of the largest inventories of wire cloth products in the United States.

With warehouse locations on both the East and West coasts, we effectively and efficiently meet the needs of our customer's time restraints and production requirements.

When required, many specifications can be shipped within 24 hours including DFAR preference to specialty metals (DFAR Clause 252.225-7014.)

Backed by over 80 years of experience, Belleville Wire Cloth is an approved supplier to some of America's largest corporations including GE, Raytheon, Rolls Royce, Delphi as well as the U.S. Government.

OUR HISTORY

Belleville Wire Cloth was founded in 1919 by Thomas Crowley, an experienced wire cloth weaver. Three generations of the family have dedicated themselves to the design and fabrication of the highest quality wire cloth in the country.

The company was established to furnish precision wire cloth (i.e. stainless steel wire mesh, mesh wire, woven wire mesh, wire mesh basket, wire mesh screen, woven wire cloth, stainless steel wire cloth, wire cloth screen, wire cloth strainer, industrial wire cloth, wire weaving, metal cloth, welded wire fabric) for quality-conscious filter fabricators.

Over the almost 9 decades of its existence, the Crowley family and its employees have accumulated unparalleled experience in the weaving and fabricating of all metal alloys.

This experience and background enables Belleville Wire Cloth to specialize in innovative products, such as the weaving of wire cloth containing Niobium, Titanium, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Monel, Nickel, Inconel, Incoloy, etc.

Belleville Wire Cloth manufacturers and fabricates wire cloth for chemical processing, food processing, refrigeration, acoustics, aeronautics, transportation and the military among others.

Our Quality Control and Inspection standards are in conformance to military standard MIL-I-45208 and certified AS9100/ISO 9001:2008 and NADCAP AC7110/1 welding/brazing.

We welcome special requirements such as special alloy needs, and can produce prototypes or production runs on time due to our flexible manufacturing schedules.

GETTING THROUGH TOUGH TIMES

While most other businesses were cutting spending throughout the current recession, Belleville Wire Cloth retrained employees, built a website and became certified to sell aircraft parts. “Taking steps in positive directions” was the key for this family business in weathering the storm.

Owners Mike and Jim Crowley used three grants from New Jersey's labor department to make their workforce more efficient and grow as a business.

"It really worked out well," said Mike Crowley, who oversees operations at the Cedar Grove company. "We were going through some growing pains, and having the state help on the financial side was a big plus."
