Since the September 11th attack on the United States, personal and business security have become topics of concern for every family business owner. In "Family Business First", meet private investigator Harold Copus. Borrowing the idea from our popular Family Business Profile series, we're starting a series based on Harold's Private Investigations.
The first story deals with corporate identity theft and its prevention, and we also have an interesting and helpful item on personal identity theft protection.
We continue with the Leadership Practices series, since these practices are the foundation for the processes that must be in place in order to achieve success.

Since the September 11th attack on the United States, personal and business security have become topics of concern for every family business owner. Our family business security expert is private investigator Harold Copus, a former Special Agent with the FBI. You may be familiar with Harold as he appears frequently as an expert commentator on security issues for the Fox Cable News Network. Harold recently was recognized on the Dr Phil show for his work in finding run-away children. In fact, Harold was asked to attend the White House ceremony when the Amber Alert legislation was signed into law by President Bush.
We have launched a new security initiative that details actual cases that Harold and his team of security experts have solved. We hope in providing these case studies subscribers to UFB will gain a better understanding and a higher sensitivity to the fact that many people and situations are not what they appear to be!
