You might have your own favorite method for handling downloads. If not, here are a few suggestions...

1. Make sure you have enough disk space.

2. SAVE TO DISK the download to your Desktop or the default directory, which in Windows is probably "My Download Files".

3. When you are ready to "Install" or "Unzip" or otherwise move the file to the desired directory, first COPY the downloaded file to the directory you want it in, then "Install" or "Unzip".

This uses more of your hard disk space, since you will have TWO copies of the downloaded file, but the reason is to provide a backup or archive copy so you don't have to download again if you ever have to re-install. Not essential, but very handy if you have the disk space.
