"Tiger Flight Foundation, an "aviation education" program located at the Richard B Russell Airport (RMG) in Rome GA, is a great example of the many volunteer organizations in the field of General Aviation that focus on aviation awareness for kids", according to leading family business expert Don Schwerzler.

"The motto of Tiger Flight is "Leading the Young to the Dream of Flight". The organizers of the program are all volunteers - dedicated to teaching youngsters about the wonders of flight."

Schwerzler has been studying and advising family businesses for more than 40 years and he is the founder of the Family Business Institute

Tiger Flight is a 501(c)(3) non profit foundation and is accepting tax - deductible donations.

Major components of the Tiger Flight progam include the Tiger Flight Formation Flight Team, Tiger Flight Museum, and the Children's Education and Motivational Program.

Etowah Georgia Youth Science Technology Center supports the Tiger Flight organization primarily through curriculum development in the sciences associated with flight including earth, life, and physical science and by planning, organizing, and coordinating field trips to Richard B. Russell Airport in Rome.

Tiger Flight's Flight Team is the official flight team of the Aviation Museum at Marietta Georgia.
