NCPA Opinions (National Center for Policy Analysis) are presented to help keep family business owners aware of public policy issues that could help or hurt a family-owned business.
"Never have we seen such a radical intrusion into the private sector of our economy by the federal government as engineered by the current administration," according to leading family business expert
Don Schwerzler.
"Laws that impact our economy are being passed with little or no public debate by lawmakers - who have not even read the proposed legislation! Today, it is more important than ever for family businesses to make an effort to better understand the issues that will impact their business and their family."
Schwerzler began studying and advising family business entrepreneurs in 1967 - a span of more than 40 years. He is the founder of the
Family Business Institute
headquartered in Atlanta GA.
The National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan public policy research organization, established in 1983.
"The NCPA's goal is to develop and promote private alternatives to government regulation and control, solving problems by relying on the strength of the competitive, entrepreneurial private sector," according to Joe Barnett, Director of Policy Research.
